The
Amazing Rainforest Experience provides not only a show but an ongoing
display, featuring a unique collection of over 20 different species.
The
Amazing Rainforest Experience is a unique animal show where conservation
and environmental awareness take center stage. It is a proven
scientific fact that our planet’s rainforests are home to
over 2/3 of all species, and yet they are being destroyed at a
rate of over one acre every second of the day. We live in a world
where a new species becomes endangered every day. With these events,
conservation of our natural resources is an ever-pressing issue.
Some of the most rare and endangered species on our planet are
featured in this show.
You
will have the opportunity to experience animals rarely seen in
captivity, including an Asian Fishing Cat. As our two magnificent
Bengal tigers make their appearance and demonstrate their natural
grace and beauty, we remind the guests about their endangered
status. The mere presence of these magnificent creatures will
most certainly inspire your guests.
The
Amazing Rainforest Experience is presented by husband and wife
team Robert and Christy Mullen.
The Mullen’s, true conservationists at heart, strongly believe
that education and awareness is vital to the survival of all our
planet’s creatures, including us. Robert has been producing
educational animal shows for the past 26 years. He is nationally
known for producing high quality animal shows that combine both
theatrical elements and environmental education. He was the exclusive
producer for Phoenix Magic and toured nationally with them for
10 years. For 3 continuous years, he produced 3 separate shows
at Jungleland Zoo in Kissimmee, Florida. He is now the head trainer
and creative designer for the Amazing Rainforest Experience
Christy,
a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelors degree
in Animal Biology, has almost literally grown up on the back of
a horse. She has been training horses for 10 years in all disciplines
from Huntseat to Western to Dressage, even retraining racehorses
to be pleasure horses. Christy has 8 years experience in many
fields of veterinary medicine, including small animal, large animal
and exotic animal/wildlife medicine. Christy brings her many years
of education and expertise to offer a high standard of health
care to our animals.
The
Amazing Rainforest Experience includes a large ongoing display
throughout the day in addition to three high quality performances
at our Asian ruins stage. As patrons enter the Rainforest Experience,
our large display tent, the fully thematic display will transport
all of their senses to a pristine rainforest. The Rainforest Experience
brings guests eye to eye with many rare and endangered creatures.
The exhibit is completely landscaped, including running waterfalls,
greenery, and the sounds of the rainforest. Our zoo quality caging
meets the same high safety standards, for animals and public alike,
as any major zoo. Our natural enclosures are designed not only
to provide mental and physical stimulation for our animals, but
to provide your guests with an entertaining and educational experience.
Our display is our backstage area open to the public, where they
can view the animals in their “off time” when they
are not performing.
Our
stage show, The Amazing Rainforest Experience, takes guests to
old Asian ruins, where they are met by a beautiful princess who
narrates the show from the back of an Appendix horse, demonstrating
unique and superb equestrian skills. The show will entertain and
educate your guests about the amazing animals we share this planet
with. The ever changing cast of animals in this show is unique
to each performance, including parrots, monkeys, lemurs, tigers,
cougars, foxes, coati mundi, and our Asian Fishing cat. They all
demonstrate their natural abilities and unique personalities,
while their trainers share unique and interesting facts about
them. As animals and trainers interact, the love that is present
can be felt by the audience throughout the entire show.
Our
training methods are based entirely upon positive reinforcement
and are evident through the love and admiration that we share
with these animals we are priviledged to have as a part of our
lives. We present three shows daily. Our cast of animals from
the smallest to the largest will keep the audience on the edge
of their seats during the entire 30 minute show. Our unique nighttime
performances are fully illuminated by computer controlled theatrical
lighting to create a truly magical experience. Each performance
is concluded with a chance for each and every audience member
to visit with our majestic horse Magic, as well as our trainers.
The
Amazing Rainforest Experience is extremely media friendly, always
generating a lot of media attention and has great sponsorship
potential. Robert and Christy have conducted over a hundred TV,
radio, and newspaper interviews. They are both always available
to do both onsite and offsite media with or without the animals.
The Amazing Rainforest Experience is recognized and sanctioned
by the United States Department of Agriculture as well as the
Fish and Wildlife Department.

RE: The
American Appendix Horse Association has established itself for
the recognition for the Thoroughbred & Quarter Horse cross-mix.
These bloodlines make up the horse which has come to be known
as the Appendix Horse.A lot of people are under
the misunderstanding that the Thoroughbred horse does not have
a good mind and is hot headed and hard to control. They also believe
that it is the Quarter horse that gives the cross its good mind
and attitude but, it is all in the breeding of the Thoroughbred
or Quarter horse individual that you choose to breed.
