The
Exotic Endangered Cats of the World is the largest mixed cat act
in the show world today. Trained and presented by eight generation
circus preformers Yaro & Barbara Hoffmann.
Cats originating from all around the world. Cats which would not
normally come in contact with each other are assembled in the
big steel arena. Siberian and Royal Bengal Tigers from Russia
and India. Amur Asian Leopards originating from Siberia and Korea.
Black Panthers from Viet Nam, Cambodia, and Laos. The Puma from
the United States. All of these cats were born in captivity, hand
raised, bottle fed by the Hoffmann family.
All of the cats are on the endangered species list and are part
of a breeding program to ensure future captive use, the first
being born on June 16, 1995, while traveling with the Hamid Morton
Shrine Circus. Parents Aphariditie & Purceus giving birth
to male and female Amur Leopards.
All of the cats are trained through a gentle training program
developed by the Hoffmanns. Never subjected to fire, never subjected
to the big bull whip. The Hoffmanns do not claim to be the task
masters. Instead they have developed a relationship with these
giant land predators. Working with the belief that not only is
the presentation an art form, but also the training itself.
The beauty of these great beasts can be enjoyed on a new level
of entertainment, never demonstrated in the
big steel arena until now.
