This
extraordinary world - Narnia - is a magical land situated somewhere between
the lamppost and Cair Paravel on the western sea. But don't try to find
it on a map, for it won't be there. Which isn't to say that Narnia is a
figment of one's imagination. Oh, no, it's much more than that. It's a place
you'll more likely find in your heart, as you embrace its wonders with your
spirit. Journey to this place of awe with Lucy, Edmond, Peter and Susan
where fauns frolic, trees talk and the civilization is remarkably civilized
--except for the evil White Witch, who will stop at nothing short of total
conquest. Surely Aslan the great Lion will vanquish this diabolical imposter...won't
he? But why is his return taking so long? And will his power be enough to
overcome her dark treachery? A forgotten wardrobe becomes the pathway to
adventure and intrigue as four children step into another time and place-Narnia.
Unlike other destinations, Narnia is an enchanted place inhabited by fauns,
talking animals and the evil White Witch, who has turned this once verdant
land into one of eternal winter. Narnia's only hope is Aslan the Lion, who
alone has the power to conquer the spell-casting monarch. So why then would
Aslan surrender himself to be killed by his arch enemy?
