Dear Tarek,

RE: TUT AT THE FORKS

The Forks Market Promotion – June 15 to August 14, 2005

Though the final statistics have yet to come in, I wanted to take this opportunity to convey to you our sincere appreciation for all your efforts in making TUT AT THE FORKS the standout success that it was!

We know that we processed well over 14,000 paid visitors to the exhibit, most of whom paid $5.00 each, and some of which came back for repeat visits. We know that we more than covered our expenses. Our tenants have let us know that they were very pleased with the added attraction that your exhibit provided to the Market (and they are a very discerning group). The success of the exhibit is also evidenced by the testimonials of hundreds of visitors who registered in our guest books, samples of which include:

“This exhibit [of museum-quality replicas] is larger, more informative and more entertaining than the one [with the genuine artifacts] in Las Angeles.”

“Absolutely breathtaking! I hope to see more displays like this in the future.”

“Excellent opportunity to learn about Egyptian history and culture. Hope this display comes back again. Loved it!”

“Great to see. Can’t believe the work involved. Beautiful!”

“This exhibit allowed me to experience the feeling, somewhat of what it must have been like to discover the tombs of King Tut.”

“Fascinating, even after viewing the originals in the Cairo Museum!”

Clearly, your dedication to accuracy and painstaking detail has been emphatically embraced by our most severe critics – our customers. And from our perspective as landlords, it also became clear that you extend this professionalism to your everyday dealings. You, and your lovely wife, Titi were always most gracious and it was a pleasure that I will not soon forget to have worked with you both on a daily basis for 2 months resolving the myriad issues and concerns that arise with exhibits of this calibre, to our mutual satisfaction.

But perhaps, the best accolade of all comes from some of our customers, who implored us to extend your tour so that, having come to the Forks Market especially for King Tut, they could be allowed to view it. Even as you were packing up, you allowed them to see what could be seen and to buy a few souvenirs – customer service that represented The Market very well.

Your King Tut exhibit is indeed most impressive. In nearly 30 years of managing properties, your exhibit has been the most expertly organized and come the closest to perfection in delivering the expectations created, that I have had the pleasure to experience. I commend you on your efforts and invite you to have any prospective venue contemplating your exhibit to contact me for references directly. We look forward to working with you on other exhibits of this nature that you have under development – Alexander the Great, Cleopatra… Wishing you and the Egyptian Art Centre continuing success, we remain, …

Yours Most Sincerely,

THE FORKS MARKET

Dear Mr.Ragab,
I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep appreciation for your outstanding contributions in helping to make the 2005 Tennessee State Fair a solid success. The quality of the "Treasures of King Tut" exhibit was just superb and provided our patrons with a once in a lifetime opportunity to view impressive artifacts from antiquity.

Dear Tarek,
We are receiving very positive responses from our attendees which will prompt us to pursue the addition of other educational exhibits in future Exhibitions. The endorsement of your exhibit by Manitoba Museum demonstrated their confidence that your replicas were true representations of the original artifacts.
I would personally like to thank you and your son for always conducting your business with us in a gracious and professional manner.

The Egyptian Art Display was great success. The exhibit was excellent and generated a great deal of interest from the public. It was impressive to view and very interesting.
The addition of the Egyptian display to Colonial Days Fair added unique feature to the event. we were pleased to be able to have it as part of our fair.

Tarek Ragab was both eager to please and easy to work with and we would not hesitate to recommend this exhibit to other fairs and exhibitions.

As it is not easy to access the Treasures of Egypt for the normal person without a major trek to various countries and museums, this Exhibit offers a Brilliant Alternative. Without hesitation, I am pleased to add my personal endorsement of the Treasures of Egypt Exhibit.
