SHOW DESCRIPTION: Step into a tropical paradise filled with color and wonder! The Butterfly Kingdom features between 200 and 300 live butterflies from six unique species, fluttering freely in a beautiful, enclosed garden environment. Guests can experience the magic up close as butterflies land gently on feeding sticks and even on their hands. An educational video plays continuously throughout the day, sharing fascinating facts about the life cycle, behaviors, and habitats of these delicate creatures. Perfect for all ages, the Butterfly Kingdom offers a hands-on, unforgettable encounter with nature’s most graceful pollinators.
EXHIBIT HOURS: The exhibit will be open during event hours but will close no later than 8:00 P.M. due to the natural habits of the butterflies. The exhibit will close twice per day for 30-minute maintenance breaks.
SHOW SUPPLIES:
• Butterflies (200 to 300 butterflies are in the exhibit at any given time)
• All necessary staff
• Tent
• Feeding Sticks (patrons can purchase for $1 to hand feed the butterflies)
• TV Monitors
• All Supplies necessary for the butterfly encounter other than sponsor provided flowers, plants and nursery items.
BUYER SUPPLIES:
• Water Hookup within 100 foot of show site
• Electric: (2) 110 Electric hookups
• (3) 6ft. tables
• 1 hotel room from 1-night prior through the duration of the event and 1-night after
• All necessary parking and admission passes
• Flowers: This is a decorated exhibit using local foliage and flowers to enhance the butterfly experience. We request the buyer bring a local sponsor to provide nursery items and advertise their business in cooperation with the Butterfly Encounter. Past companies have included Home Depot, Lowes and many local nurseries. (All items provided by the sponsor will remain property of the sponsor.)
