"Wild About Monkeys" SHOW DESCRIPTION

 
SHOW DESCRIPTION:

A Way With Baboons: When a movie producer needs a performing baboon, chances are they will call Kevin and Martina Keith ~ the hosts of “Wild about Monkeys”. Training Baboons is their specialty. They believe baboons to be, by far the most socially intelligent primate. Combining the rare skills of excellent trainers and the incredible instincts of the wild as well as domestic animals with which they have become friends, Kevin and Martina will delight and amaze their audience with fun, education and great entertainment for the whole family. “Wild about Monkeys” is the only traveling animal exhibition that features trained baboons. The Mandrill baboon is the only one of his kind to be safely and humanely handled on stage today.

 
SHOW LENGTH:

(3) 30 minute shows per day plus an exhibit available up to 8 hours daily, see below*. Also photos and meet and greet will be done after each show.

SHOW SUPPLIES:

• Two trainers
• All animals and props. Animals include: 5 baboons, 3 female and 2 male, 2 capuchin monkeys, Conure Parrot and One LA Catahoula leopard Dog.
• Full self-contained with backdrop and stage props
• Perimeter Fencing
• Sound and Lights
• Carries $1,000,000 public liability insurance policy
• Promotional stunts or interviews that include the parrot and or baboon can be arranged with advanced notice.
• *Exhibit – 2 capuchin monkeys and 1 trainer. The exhibit will be closed during shows. (Exhibit will only be open 8 hours daily depending on the health and well being of the animals. Purchaser can let the act know when they would like the exhibit to be open.)

 

 

BUYER SUPPLIES:

• Water and electric hook-up for motorhome
• 3 bags of shavings per day
• Bleacher or seating (optional but preferred. The best option is bleachers)
• Access to Dumpster for animal waste, prefers not to have dumpster at site
• Motorhome and performance area shall be ready 2 days prior to the event
• Necessary parking, and entrance permits to the fair for cast.
• If additional insured parties are necessary, Purchaser agrees to pay $150.00 per additional insured name added to existing $1,000,000 insurance policy.
* Two able bodied people to help with setup and teardown. (*Approximately 3 hours for set-up and 3 hours for tear down)

 

AREA NEEDED: Performance area of 60’x 100’ or 60’ X 70” minimum flat, dry area (area includes parking for motorhome, trailer and performance area but does not include bleachers or seating area)

 

SET-UP & TEAR-DOWN: 1 day to set-up; 1 day to tear-down

 

DAILY MILEAGE TRAVELED: 500 miles per day

REFERENCES AVAILABLE: Yes

 

COST: $2,500 a day.
