SHOW DESCRIPTION:
With roots in daredevil and circus performances dating back to 1840, the Nock family founded Switzerland's first circus and outdoor thrill show.
In 1954, the name "Nerveless Nocks" was coined after Eugene Nock Sr. performed for Queen Elizabeth in London, who remarked, “You are simply nerveless.”
The Nerveless Nocks headlined Ringling Bros Circus from 1954-1957 and performed on the Ed Sullivan Show with The Beatles in the early '60s-the highest-rated episode in the show's history.
Roy and Walt Disney personally hired them for the 1964-65 New York World's Fair to produce their iconic Sway Pole Show. Over the last 50 years, they have performed across the U.S. and Canada at countless fairs, often alongside other acts.
Today, the second and third generations - Angelina, Cyrus, and Michelangelo Nock-continue to perform their breathtaking stunts. They were recently featured on America’s Got Talent: Extreme, where Simon Cowell called them “one of the scariest acts we've ever seen.”
Considered by many as the greatest thrill show in history, the Nerveless Nocks continue to amaze with their daring 80-foot sway pole performances, without nets or safety gear - a must see for thrill seekers.
