Oval Office Reproduction & Presentation |
| The White House tour will climax with admittance into
the most famous office on earth. The office will be decorated
to look like it did when Ronald Reagan was president. Groups
of 20 to 30 at a time will enter the 16.5 foot tall room
which is nearly 40 ft. long through one of the doors. A docent
will give them a brief history of some of the most interesting
facts about the room and it's history then open the floor
for questions. Each group will have between 5 and 10 minutes
in the room, depending on the size of the queue line. At
the conclusion, participants will be directed out through
the door which would normally lead to the presidents private
study, restroom, and lunch area. |

Resolute Desk, President's Chair, & Art |
| A full scale, highly
detailed recreation of the famous Resolute desk used by
8 presidents will sit in the Oval Office. The famous “secret door” added
by F.D.R. and made famous by little John-John will be demonstrated.
The chair behind the desk is identical to the one commissioned
by J.F.K., built by the same manufacturer, and used by
several presidents since. Art on the wall are authentic
reproductions of historical art which actually hung, or
still hang in the Oval Office and which are provided, and
used by permission of the White House Historical Society.
The carpet is a highly detailed reproduction of the carpet
designed under the supervision of Nancy Reagan and used
by G.W. Bush during his first year in office. The beautiful
hardwood floor which Nancy Reagan had installed to replace
the linoleum of the past has been painstakingly reproduced.
The famous Remington bronze statues and Grandfather Clock
which have graced the office of most, or all of the last
several presidents are reproduced in great detail. Most
of these items still sit in the actual Oval Office to this
day. |
